How many times have you heard yourself starting a sentence with “I wish…”? Countless times, right? Wishes are important – especially on birthdays. Or when we see 11:11. Or when blowing on a dandelion. Or just when we’re feeling wistful and daydreaming. For me, wishes represent hope – hope that the Universe or god or my spirit guides hear my thoughts and take my desires and turn that wish into reality. But as the above quote says…we can’t spend our whole lives wishing. Action is critical. If we spend all of our times wishing and waiting for those wishes to come true, they just might not.
So, I’m going to take a good look at my ‘wish list’ today. Figure out what I keep wishing for but isn’t coming to fruition thanks to my laziness or procrastination. Some of our wishes are hopeful promises for the future and can’t become reality right now. But we can certainly work towards making them our reality. So, make a wish…but make it come true.
