Every once in a while I get the urge to listen to a CD that was given to me by my best friend’s Mom. It’s comprised of 7 songs – each song is meant to ‘awaken and balance’ a particular chakra. Some songs I like more than others. And one is just plain unappealing to my ears (which in fact is the one that is related to the chakra of mine that needs the most work!). Chakras are something most of us have heard about. But a true, deep understanding of them doesn’t come unless you’ve taken some time to study them. I’ve been learning about chakras for 2 years now and still have so much to learn. (And truth be told I didn’t even know how to pronounce the word when I was first introduced to the idea)!
Whether you’ve studied ‘em or not, you have ‘em.
So which ones need some TLC?
There are so many ways to test your chakras and find out which ones are balanced and which ones could use some work. We all love a quiz (don’t we?) and so I thought I’d share this link so you can test your chakras to find out which ones need some attention and healing – which are under-active, open or over-active.
The questionnaire consists of 56 questions, to which you rate your answers on a scale that can range from “not at all” to “definitely.” Try to be as honest as possible about yourself – it will obviously get you the most accurate results. I know we all WANT a balanced heart chakra for example, but not all of us have one.
Without further ado…the quiz: Test your chakras
So how did you fare? Post your results here and let’s compare notes.
In the meantime if you want to learn more, Chakra Energy is a great place to start. There’s a plethora of websites that teach you about the chakras and what they mean, how to balance them and what colors each respond to/represent. That’s beyond the scope of this post, but a future post about how to balance your chakras can be expected in the near future.
