Monday motivation: Mercury goes direct

Now that Mercury is direct, it’s time to get a move on the things we were reflecting, revising and recounting for the past 3 weeks. This Monday motivation is a little reminder hat the current planetary alignment is telling you now is the time to do the things you’ve been sitting on for the past few weeks.

Need a recap?

On August 20th, Mercury went into retrograde.

Mercury is a trickster

It’s more than likely that you’ve fallen victim to Mercury’s trickster ways in one way or another. Maybe you were plagued with technology snafus, communication issues or travel problems. If that’s the case, you can breathe a sigh of relief. Mercury is direct again!

If you felt like a weight was lifted off your shoulders this past weekend, it is likely that you picked up on the subtle vibrational change as Mercury once again went direct. That being said, it does often take a few days for things to really be restored. I just experienced this first-hand this morning at work as I’ve had to reboot my computer 3 times in the past 15 minutes.

What does it mean when Mercury goes direct?

Now that Mercury is going direct again, you will find that communication efforts flow more effectively and clearly. If you used the Retrograde time properly (to engage in all of the REs) then now is the time to take action!

Let something (or someone) go

So, you’ve spent the past 3 weeks reflecting and re-thinking about a certain situation or relationship. Mercury in Retrograde is really good for bringing back the past so you confront it and really work through your issues. It’s the perfect time to finish personal tasks (like cleaning out your junk drawers). Mercury direct is about moving forward. Let go of the past and do just that!

Sign that contract

Those who are familiar with Mercury in Retrograde know that it is advisable to never sign a contract during this time. So if you were putting off signing a contract of any sorts – lease on a new car or a new job contract, now is the time to do it.

Do what you put on hold
Did you put off buying new technology, meeting new people to date, take up a new hobby or job searching? I did. But now I am going to make it my priority to do anything and everything that symbolizes progress. Whatever it is that symbolizes progress for you should now be done. Now is the time!

Did you use the past 3 weeks as a chance to re-evaluate your life? Were you forced by Mercury to slow down for a bit? Share your experiences here.

Now get up and go!
