Moving mandalas

One of the first articles I wrote on this site was about Fractal Energy Mandalas. I wrote specifically about K. Allen Kay’s fractal energy mandalas, as his work is what introduced me to the world of these transformative pieces of art.

I just discovered moving mandalas today when I stumbled upon the Moving Mandalas and Animated Geometry site. On this page, you can play with the mandalas using your mouse and keyboard, transforming them yourself. Peaceful music plays in the background on the site and I found myself transfixed with these beautiful images.

Further google digging introduced me to the work of Charmain Zoe. The videos below are her creations.

I hope you will find these moving mandalas as relaxing as I do.

Watching these mandala videos might be a good way for a beginner meditator to really relax and calm your inner self.

So what do you think of these? If you create mandalas or you know of someone who does, please share here!
