I have quite a oracle card decks here in my little “intuition arsenal” and tend to cycle through different decks depending on how they feel to me at any given time. For quite a while, I was in the habit of pulling a daily card for myself that would sort of set the ‘theme’ for the day or let me know what my guides were telling me to look out for on any given day. I like to do free card readings for my Facebook fans from time to time. My friends always love when I bring my cards over for dinner and a little conversation/card pulling.
In other words: I love me some good oracle cards. So last week when Kathleen Plant McIntire & Erin Cote sent me a brand spankin’ new deck they had created to try out, I was thrilled! Guiding Signs 101: Guidance cards for a smooth ride on your life’s journey, are a great deck for oracle card connoisseurs and beginners alike.
What I love about the cards is the symbols they use. We all understand traffic signs, and these cards use playful road signs to help us get our answers and messages from Spirit. The guidebook that comes with the cards helps us find the deeper meanings behind each card, some probing questions to help us find our answers by accessing our own intuition/heart and even some poems!
Do ever ever get what I call “fuzzy” answers from your guides when you just want to hear a yes/no answer? These cards are perfect for the yes/no questions when we have ‘em. These cards are a fantastic way to help bring easy-to-understand guidance and answers to your questions. You don’t need to read between the lines with these cards. I asked one question about someone and got a very clear “Stop” sign. No ambiguity there!
Now for the good part: the women who created these cards are giving away one deck of Guiding Signs 101 to one lucky reader! See below for the easy ways to enter. And be sure to spread the word to anyone you know who might like these cards!
Good luck! And even if you don’t win, these cards are worth buying. I bet you’ll love using them as much as I have.

Huh. Looks cool, but I can’t get the entry thingie to let me type anything into it.
Okay, never mind, I was being dense. You have to click the Enter button BEFORE you put your info in. Duh.
Anyway, I use both tarot cards and oracle cards in my readings all the time. I love the TAO Oracle, Doreen Virtue’s Archangel Oracle cards, The Language of Letting Go by Melodie Beattie, Louise Hay’s Power Thought cards, and Cheryl Richardson’s Daily Affirmations cards. They’re all great. For tarot I prefer Robin Wood, or the Gaian Tarot, at the moment anyway.
Ohhh Jennifer sounds like you have some lovely decks! Everyone keeps talking about those Archangel cards. I had one pulled for me at a psychic fair a few months ago and it was spot-on. Maybe that should be my next card deck investment!
PS – Glad the form is working for you now! Let’s blame it on the form and not you, okay?
I’ve used oracle cards in the past – I own a set of angel cards created by Doreen Virtue and a set of cards created by Sonia Choquette. I used oracle cards a lot because they were really straight forward, and I was struggling with the multilayered concept of the tarot. When I wanted an answer, I didn’t want something complicated – just give it to me straight! But now that I’m getting somewhat better at tarot, I prefer them over oracle cards BECAUSE they’re more complex. Hah. I rarely use my oracle cards these days. :3
Hi Tatiana!
I know what you mean about the Tarot cards being more complex. When I was first immersed into this world, the non-literal translations of the Tarot nearly drove me bonkers! But now, just like you, I’ve come to appreciate that complexity. Although sometimes if I want a straight answer I turn to my oracle cards. Love ‘em!
Neat- I use a deck from Sonia Choquette (I found her books a few years ago, she is one of my favorite authors on the ‘guides’subject, also Collette Baron Reid) Her deck is pretty useful/accurate/user friendly too. I might have to check these out as a suggested stocking stuffer
I have two of Colette’s decks and they were my first introduction to oracle cards, actually. Love them and I still turn to them from time to time!
Those cards look great. So far I use two tarot decks, a standard one and Osho Zen. The standard one I use mostly for daily and monthly readings and Osho Zen is great for self-insight and meditation
I’ve never heard of the Osho Zen cards, Marc. But the name alone makes me want to see them! Off to Google…
So exciting! I do not have any yet, so I have no prior use, but I have been wanting some really bad so fingers crossed!!
It would be kismet to see you win your first deck, Becki! Good luck!
Cool! As you know, I almost never use cards, except for reading for myself. However this week I ordered not one but two sets, just had the urge out of nowhere. Next on my agenda, studying more about specific angels and phyllum.
I’ll have to ask you to pull a card for me at some point. I’m not sure which deck to ask you to use. I’ll wait until I have a burning question!
Anytime. I also have Sonia Choquette’s Soul Lessons that I love the mostest, but they are hard to post because the interpretation is at least 2 pages long. I usually take photos and send them to people.
I’ve never used Oracle cards but have seen them and been curious about them. I remember consulting a Tarot deck in college, but I don’t even know if they were mine or a friend’s! This deck looks very cool, though, and I may just have to indulge my curiosity!
These cards are pretty cool and a lot clearer in regards to their messages/answers than the Tarot (in my experience). I hope you like ‘em if you get some!
As a beginner, I am so excited to have the opportunity to win a set of these cards! Thank you so much for this wonderful chance!
Good luck to you, Rene!! Thanks for participating!
I never used oracle cards before. sounds very interesting and I would like to learn how and own a set for myself.
These are a good starting point Dorese. Good luck!
Thank you Lindsay!
I have never used cards. I am very much in the beginning, exploratory phase of all of this. I’m so grateful to have found this site!
